Tues 19th May 2020
Live performance on Zoom
During the first lockdown of 2020, we went digital. We moved our in-person workshops online. It was a challenge to adapt and learn a new tool but one which we overcame, building a new way of working and creating, even whilst we were apart. On Tuesday 19th May 2020 we performed our first live, online performance, Connection Unstable.
Can you hear me?
Over the last 7 weeks we have met over an- an- an- an unstable connection.
Apart but together, gathered in small boxes to share experiences that ring
the same,
the same
the same.
Despite our walls and our edges we feel together, for one or two hours.
We don’t sing unmuted any more, but our creativity has blossomed, and this unstable connection is what we have to share the joys and sorrows of our up down lock down.
Break bandwidths and boxes, to come together apart and find connection with us.
What audiences said:
“Interesting. It made me consider how creativity rises to meet challenges; the challenges in this case being having to adjust to a relatively new platform.”
“It was really wonderful to see so many people coming together, including those around the world. It was inspiring to see how we can still be creative with one another even when we are limited to online/creens.”
