Facilitation Training for Members

We have an opportunity for two Many Minds members to undergo a short intensive training and mentoring programme to develop their skills as a facilitator and lead a 5-session workshop programme with support from Artistic Director Viki Browne and previous trainees of the programme.  

The trainee programme will involve support in planning a mini-series ending in a small performance outcome with Many Minds members. We are looking for people who want to gain experience and further their career pathways to become workshop facilitators and directors. 

Trainees will need to be available for workshops on Tuesday evenings at Kuumba Centre in St Pauls, Bristol and will need to be available for an extra 4 hours for planning, feedback and mentoring outside of the workshop times. 
  
WEEK 1 (Planning and Induction) –  6hrs 
Planning session – 3 hours with Viki 
Training session – 2 hours with previous Trainee 
Wellbeing Action Plan – 1 hour 
 
Week 2-5 (Delivery) – 8 hours per week 
1 hr prep outside of the room unsupported  
2 hrs planning with Viki or previous trainee 
4 hrs -Tuesday evening session working (Times: 4.45-8.45PM) 
1 hr Evaluation of each session 
 
Trainee 1: 
Planning week: 10th Oct 
Workshops: 18th Oct – 15th Nov 
(Tues evenings – 4.45-8.45PM) 
 
Trainee 2:  
Planning week: 14th Nov 
Workshops: 22nd Nov – 20th Dec 
(Tues evenings – 4.45-8.45PM)

This is an unpaid opportunity, however we can cover expenses whilst you are participating in the training program.
